Tantuvi presents a melding of contemporary colours and styles with exclusive handloom designs.

Founded in 1998
by Smriti Morarka
Tantuvi which means ‘weaver’ in Sanskrit is an attempt to revive the dying weaving traditions of Benaras.

Our Reason to Exist
Tantuvi’s sole objective is to enable the weaver as an artist to preserve and revive his dying heritage and earn a comfortable livelihood. We enable the aesthetically inclined buyer with an opportunity to indulge her penchant for these beautiful woven works of art.

A Small Price to Pay
Tantuvi sarees carry a premium but they cannot be found in ordinary stores and boutiques. We believe in the value of preserving our age old heritage and weaving skills.
